North vs. South, Free State vs. Slave State, State Governments vs. Federal Government. For a country with the name United, America was anything but united. The states still stuck together, though. That is until December 20, 1860. The bloodiest fight the Union has ever had is about to begin. (Place holder cover) Crumbling Barriers rewrite. no further explanation. Also, I'm not naming the chapters after plants, fuck that, never doing that again. Poland is still a trans-boy, America is still a closet case, Japan is hopelessly oblivious, Italy is still enby (non-binary), Bhutan is aroace now, Russia is bisexual (not sure if he was originally but whatever), China is still kind of a prude but he's also a stalker, NK is getting stalked and hit on, SK can't decide who he likes even though he ends up alone, Germany still has daddy issues and is also a closet case, UN, EU, and NATO are in a throuple, and finally, Confederate (aka Conner) is the token cis-het white guy. There may or may not be smut at some point in time but that still has to be decided.

It's July 3rd, 1863 and Union and Confederate forces are gathered at the small town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. On one side, in the Army of Northern Virginia, a Sergeant Thomas Sykes stands in apprehension, awaiting to march across an open field into the oncoming fire of the Yankees. As Thomas stands waiting, he has no idea that he is about to meet his best friend in battle and because of that meeting, his life will change forever. On the other side, in the Army of the Potomac, a Private Clyde Smith sat in awaiting tension, confused about how the Rebels were about to attack. But as Clyde waited, he had no way of knowing that he was about to meet his best friend in battle and that meeting will change his life forever, but in a very different way. Dive into this short story to see the famous Pickett's Charge through the eyes of both a Union and a Confederate soldier.

David Summers never expected any of this...not in a million years. He thought for sure he was a goner. After leaving Alabama and enlisting with the cavalry, his delusion of chivalry was suddenly quashed when he saw for himself the horrors of battle. Now, after being shot and ending up at a strange farmhouse, he's found himself being nursed back to health by four beautiful girls, and has learned that his Confederate brethren have deserted him in Pennsylvania after fighting at Gettysburg. It's more than he can fathom. On top of that, he's been presented with an even bigger dilemma. He knows he's falling in love with the older sister, Anna, and she has enticed him with an interesting proposition. However, her scheme goes against his principles, and the reasons why he enlisted in the first place - to avenge his father's death and defend his sacred homeland. To David's dismay, he must make a decision. Should he stay and help Anna with her underhanded plan, deceiving everyone around him by pretending to be a Yankee? If discovered, he would be considered a traitor to the cause, and she could be in jeopardy of treason. Or should he leave the farm, say goodbye to her, and risk certain capture? Either way, his perilous situation doesn't seem to offer an encouraging outcome. If that isn't bad enough, Anna's neighbor, a Union officer, is in love with her, too, and he would stop at nothing to have David arrested ... or worse.

The human world can be a dangerous place sometimes. . I have only written this on Wattpad, nowhere else. . After being cast out from the world of Countries, USSR is forced to live in the Human World. He was told that he wasn't alone though, and that many other people like him had also been thrown out. Soviet wouldn't have any trouble finding some of these countries...but he would find it difficult to cope with them. And understand one in particular. . Gore warning but not really? Some bad characters in this book. Oh no.. Bad words as well. . Favourite Ranking : 1 Countryhumans

North Texas, 1866. The war is over, but the reckoning isn't. When a wounded stranger rides onto Laura Shephard's ranch with men hunting him, a newly inherited spread is the last place she can afford trouble. She has cattle to tend, debts left by her father to reckon with, and a land-hungry world watching for weakness. Letting him stay, only for the night, is a risk she doesn't need. But Jesse Wilkes isn't running from the law for nothing. He's a former Confederate soldier who took paid escort work that turned bloody, then walked away when it stepped over a line he wouldn't cross. Now, a deputy determined to "restore order" has decided the easiest path forward is to make an example of the man and of the ranch sheltering him. As quiet pressure becomes an open threat, the land itself is tested by fire, fear, and the weight of paper that can ruin lives without proving truth. When the law tightens its grip, the man must choose between running again or surrendering to stop the cost from falling on her. Because some debts are paid with money. Others are paid with choices. And not all men who go quietly are broken.

Johnny Graycoat in this story is based on a real Cherokee General, Stand Watie, in the Confederate Army, one of the last Confederate generals to surrender in the Confederate Army. Indians fought for both sides in the Civil War for a variety of reasons that had nothing to do with slavery. If you are overly sensitive or easily offended you may not wish to read this story. Key has found the markings C&A carved in various parts of the badlands of the Thornbrush Reservation. Key and her best friend Janet Istas try to follow the marks. Believing that it might lead to some treasure. What Key doesn't know is that someone else knows of the treasure and he is now waiting for Key to find the treasure. Hoping to dispose of Key after she finds the treasure.

LIKELY SLOW UPDATES On April 12, 1861, civil war broke out in the United States. Each side fought for the cause they believed in, but only one could come out victorious in the end. It remains the bloodiest conflict in American history. *I only own my characters, which you'll meet as the story goes on.* [No set day, more random uploads] (I am not sure specifically where the cover image is from, I found it on Pinterest, but it is a painting of a Civil War battle.)
