Alyssa was brought onto this earth to be a companion for her mother. That is her only purpose. To care for her mother. Alyssa lives so that her mother can live. Alyssa exists so that her mother is not alone. Alyssa has had seventeen birthday's. In that time she has never met another human being. There is only her mother. She has seen people on the television screen. She has read about them in books. She will never, ever meet them. They are outside of her home. Alyssa does not go outside of her home. The outside is filled with people who have chemicals running through their veins. They are dangerous. Alyssa must stay inside where she is safe. Her mother has the chemicals running through her veins. Alyssa does not. Alyssa is safe with her mother because the yellow tablets stop the chemicals from getting out and attacking her. All what Alyssa has to do is make sure her mother takes the yellow tablets. If she does that and her other duties she will be safe. If she does everything without mistakes her mother will be fine. So will Alyssa.

Graham Hill is just an average citizen-with an urge to break free. After society fell, Graham had an idea... An idea which would possibly end in death.

As he lay on the rough carpet of the ground, sunlight beamed onto his face through the gaps in the bordered windows. He gulped and drove his eyes into the direction of the rusting metal door and stared at the decaying hinges whilst listening for a sound, but there was nothing. He knew in this place there was nothing to be heard however the screaming in his mind tricked him into thinking something was there. At night he would hear ringing in his ears and his eardrums would pound and pound onwards through the darkness until he could take no more. Into the confined spaces he shouted for people, anyone. No-one replied.

Lilo was buried alive in a silly Halloween prank by her parents. Until she was left 6 feet under the cold dirt with only a lighter. And that's when her nyctophobia kicks in and causes her to make the last mistake she'll ever make.
