SIX HUNDRED PEOPLE LEFT ALIVE ON A POSTWAR, POISONOUS EARTH AND THEY'RE ALL LOCKED IN A BIO DOME. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?
*Posting at least 5 days a week. Please feel free to comment, I love hearing from my readers!*
Seventeen-year-old Aileen awakens memoryless in her new life in an airtight facility called the Opportunity Camp as one of the last six hundred and forty-four known survivors on the desolate wasteland, Earth. Most of the them are teens evacuated from safe houses during the war. The adults who saved them, known as the Volunteers, teach the kids about survival in hopes of securing humanity's future.
The air outside is toxic, but as Aileen starts her lessons and training, she discovers that the Opportunity Camp isn't safe either. Those who survived alongside her think that she's a drain on society, and that they'd be better off without her. Meanwhile, the Volunteers are keeping secrets about the past; secrets about why these six hundred are alive when no one else is. Aileen must find a way to survive, and continue the Opportunity Camp's mission, despite the fact that she's locked in a box with probable killers. With the help of her thieving roommate, Billie, and her shrewdly scientific friend, Damien, she just might be able to avoid the teens who want her dead long enough to discover the Volunteers' secrets.
