What was like to run barefooted on the pavement in winter? To feel heat of the sand and sun on your feet and skin at the seaside in summer? Have you felt the kisses of the autumn breeze on your cheeks? Or the gentle pitter patter of spring rain? What I wouldn't give to feel that piercing pain you feel when you realize I envy you for the little things I can never have. "Who were you before someone hurt you", they asked. Will she be able to keep a clear head, or end up as tormented as poor Alice? If you don't fear insanity now, you will.

This is one of my proudest works. Mythology has always been one of my greatest fields of interest. The stories, lore, and untold tales have such an alluring nature, one that cannot be displaced by the simplicity of novels or fictions (even though mythology would be constituted as fiction). In this poem, Ares, the God of War, overthrows his father to acquire all power beheld within the kingdom of Olympus. Basic gist, and straight to the point right? That's not all. Zeus, being imprisoned by Ares after their spiraling conflict, is cast into the abyss of Tartarus. Within the confines of this poem, I go about meticulously describing the area where Zeus is confined in. All the torment he endures, all the suffering he goes through, all born out of an endless cycle which all of the Gods have started, and non have ended. (Sound Familiar?)

Kaito awakens in a shadowy cell, where the only light comes from the Moon, which controls the passage of time within the prison. Each night, his memories unravel, leaving behind fragmented pieces he can barely recall. His only connection is with a red-haired woman in the adjacent cell, Akane, who draws him in more each day. As he struggles to understand his situation, Kaito realizes that his lost memories are tied to something greater, hidden within the lunar cycle that governs his imprisonment. In 'Chained Memories,' Kaito must unravel the chains that bind his mind and, together with Akane, confront the mystery behind this cycle.

What makes a good story? In the past year, Cathy has had way too much time in her hands to ponder this question. She has read many more novels than she expected, of varying authors and genres and she has asked around, hoping to find the answer. But why is the answer so important, you may wonder. Who cares what makes a good story? Cathy wants to be sure her story is the best one. And she doesn't mean her journal, which you now have in your hands, she means her life story. She wants to make it a good one.

we write draft. write description l8r Okay, now I understand. This will be a compilation of random writings that I come up with. A writer's dump, essentially. My scraps. Yha. I originally wanted to use this to get back into fanfiction writing, maybe brush up since i'm so rusty. In here, it was supposed to be drafts for a new story that I would decide a title for later on. That's how I usually did it, back in the day...but,..... this extreme writer's block has been present for over four years, and in those four years I've gained experience that permanently alterted the way I write when I continue. My hand in writing has been so unexercised that I can no longer do what I used to do before, like rusted cogs that haven't been put to use in ages. I have to use a different process, or rather, I just simply have a different process. I miss writing freely and confidently, but in the meanwhile I can only jot down ideas and odd images that come to mind to....MAYBE help myself get in the groove again. I truly do miss it, but I need time.
