It seems to me that just about everyone born in this century has no appreciation for words and their meanings. This bothers me a lot. The majority of popular music that I've heard on the radio is...well...meaningless. Sure, it's fun and relaxing, but once that fades away, what do you have to contemplate or relate to? I'm pretty sure that most people can't relate to partying all night, living in expensive houses, or having access to the finer things in life. I just think that words should be used in a more meaningful way. I like things that make me think. At the time we need to think the most, there is no stimulus. It's all empty.

The Goth Kids get a new girl to join their clique and she's a perky goth but fits the perfect nonconformist depictions and has a positive influence on the group, mainly Dylan. Even though Sydney goes to class unlike the other Goths, Dylan may have to conform to go into classes with her and have a conformist emotion toward her: Love. Rated T to be safe.

This was a "poem" I wrote about the struggles of women in South Asia with the obsession of skin lightening. I did it for one of my classes where we discussed issues that impacted our intersectionalities and I was inspired by struggles one of my friends shared with me.
