Despite the cost of her power, Ava continues to use it to help others in her village. Her ability to enter and control people's dreams has become a valued service, and soon she is sought out by many who seek her help. Ava feels fulfilled by the happiness she brings to others, but she can't shake the nagging feeling that she is losing a part of herself every time she enters someone else's dream. As her own dreams become fainter and more distant, Ava begins to experience a sense of unease. She realizes that her power is slowly draining away her own dreams, leaving her with only memories of the dreams she used to have. Despite this, Ava cannot deny the joy she feels when she helps others, and she continues to use her power even as she struggles with its cost. One day, Ava is approached by a stranger who is plagued by terrible nightmares. Ava is hesitant to help, fearing that this could be the dream that takes away the last of her own dreams. However, she can't bear to see someone else suffer, and she agrees to enter the stranger's dream. What Ava finds in the stranger's dream is more than just a nightmare. It's a reflection of a dangerous reality, one that threatens the safety of the entire village. As Ava fights against the monsters that haunt the stranger's dream, she realizes that she is the only one who can stop the danger from spreading into the waking world. With her power at its strongest, Ava faces the biggest sacrifice of all. She must choose between using her power to save the stranger and losing her own dreams forever, or holding onto her power and abandoning the stranger to his fate.
