Two Lights were given. Only one was meant to endure. By TikTok popular demand, the reference notes for the sci-fi conlang Lacerti are being complied in this book. As a disclaimer, Lacerti is mostly aesthetic, and its grammar is underdeveloped because the focus of the language was on the cultural significance of word relations, so have fun looking through these notes, but please don't take it too seriously.

I am attempting to make a conlang, and I wanted to try making stories and stuff with it. It is wip, and likely will change. I have named the language Nohtuno, which in the language, pretty much means, "weird language". I plan on having each thing here have both a English version, and the conlang version, so it is possible to read for people who don't care that much about the conlang. Although I want to try including more details in the conlang version so people would try translating it to get a fuller story. There is also some stuff exclusive to Nohtuno, so more reason to try translating it. I am not an expert at writing stories, nor at making conlangs. So I may make mistakes. I have also not yet figured out the IPA.

This was my first conlang. It was meant to be a naturalistic language, but it is just arbitrary garbage. I will keep this up to remind me of just how far I have come. Perhaps I will revive it, as some sort of constructed or magical language in my fictional universe. Or it will stay dead forever. Either way, I hope you enjoy laughing at teenage myself's utter lack of understanding linguistics.

This all changed when her best friend, Ingrid introduced her to a fantasy novel series called "The Nevians." There was a book that had just been released and she couldn't wait to get it. But when she opened the book and started reading, she was sucked into the story. Now that she was stuck in the fantasy Nevian world, she started realizing that it was different from the book. She found out that the Nevian civilization was doomed. The world was changing rapidly. Now, Nova has to save the Nevian world and figure out how to get back to her own.
