This is of the 1899 Newsboy Strike against Joseph Pulitzer with some new characters and love in the air. This is based off of the movie.

Anna is a young woman in New York. She may seem an average girl, but she's got a dark secret. She has been trained as a witch and must escape those who are after her and her power. She soon meets a newsie named Spot Conlon. She can't deny her feelings for him, but she could put him in serious danger. Francis and his little sister Sabrina were separated at an early age. Sabrina creates a group of lookouts so she can still be in touch with the real world. She creates a whole network over Brooklyn and goes by the code name Anna. She escapes her orphanage and runs into the King of Brooklyn, himself. What happens when they make a deal? Si goes to the lodging house in Manhattan, but Spot is a jerk to her. She learns to get along with him in an interesting way.

Jolynn Morris was the twin sister to Charlie (or Crutchy). They were both outcasts in Queens. Crutchy because he was a crip and Jolynn because she was his twin. But she's the best sister he could've asked for. And when they found the newsies, they took them in with open arms. She remains to the day, the only girl newsie. But, she couldn't care less. She often finds herself leading with Jack. When the Newsies find themselves on strike, she meets a fellow leader of Brooklyn. She finds him very interesting and can't help but stay away. Spot Conlon, the King of Brooklyn, has a sister. A twin sister! Though Spot and Jess are not biological siblings, they rule Brooklyn as brother and sister. Jess Conlon could be Spot's clone. They act and think the same way, they even look alike! Jess is also Spot's most important spy. The two have a long history together, and have a strong bond. She is a real good fighter and can take care of herself pretty well. When she was 5, her parents were taken away and murdered, therefore she had to run away and ended up in Manhattan, for everyone thought she was the one that did it. Jack Kelly, who became her unofficial brother, took her in after a few years and brought her up to fight and sell papers. She has no need to dress up as a boy, being herself is much more intimidating. Tempest cannot do anything and thinks there should be more excitement in her boring dull New York life. Spot is the feared newsie leader from Brooklyn. He is known as a big womanizer, but he hasn't found "the one" yet. Right now he is with a girl named Livia, a greedy shirtwaist factory girl. He is a pretty good leader for Brooklyn, his cane that he stole from Pulitzer and his slingshot are his main weapons. Being intimidating has always been his way to get people to do what he wants, but it doesn't work on Tempest, not one bit. As they meet, will these two powerful newsies clash? Or will they be able to tolerate each other, at least until the end of the strike? (I do not own any Newsies Characters except the ones that I made up!)
