But like every couple, nothing is perfect. The two have a huge fight and Race leaves, saying he's going to clear his head. But when Race doesn't come back the next day, Spot gets worried. He and the Manhattan newsies team up to find Race. When they do, Spot is caught in a problem and its deal to get out of it is worse than any soaking. Will they get Race back for good? Or will Spot never forgive himself for falling short?

Sabrina and Kayleigh are at the broadway flea market. Sabrina is lucky enough to win a newspaper from the musical Newsies in an auction. What happens when both of the girls black out when they touch the newspaper and wake up in 1899?

Harper Jones has had a rough life. From being physically abused by the man supposed to love and care for her, to being locked away in an orphanage. When she finally escapes the orphanage she comes across none other than Jack Kelly, the leader of the Manhattan Newsies. He and the other Hattan newsies take her in, helping to conceal her gender as well as make her one of their own. Thus making her the first girl newsie. As the Newsie Strike begins and Harper meets the handsome and mysterious Spot Conlon will she manage to keep her gender a secret or will she fall for the bad Brooklyn boy? ...And end up broken once again. Her bravery and strength got her the title of "The Queen Of Queens", which also means that she rules the Flushing newsies, and for the sake of drama, all of Queens. She can deal with the toughest of men, but what happens when she falls for the most infamous of them all? The King of Brooklyn.

Finley Kelly, the little sister of the famous Jack Kelly. She's the only girl newsie in all of New York, and because of this, she needs to hide her gender. She's tough, and can take care of herself, but everything changes the day she meets him, the one guy she's ever fallen for (can you guess who :) ).

Yankee Conlon was having the life as her brother, Spot's right hand man, but the suddenly doesn't know anything about her past due to one of the Delancys knocking her off her feet and she hits her head. Pulitzer finds this as an opportunity to turn the queen of Brooklyn to his side and watch the other Newsies do anything to jog her memory of being a Newsie.

After the events of Nights Not Forgotten Race and Spot try to hide their relationship from their friends and the world, but Sara Jacobs makes it a lot harder for them when she tries to steal Race away from Spot, but not without revealing her true intentions.

Si goes to the lodging house in Manhattan, but Spot is a jerk to her. She learns to get along with him in an interesting way.
