Yankee Conlon was having the life as her brother, Spot's right hand man, but the suddenly doesn't know anything about her past due to one of the Delancys knocking her off her feet and she hits her head. Pulitzer finds this as an opportunity to turn the queen of Brooklyn to his side and watch the other Newsies do anything to jog her memory of being a Newsie.

A well-written story, if I do say so myself. This is a fanfic of Spot Conlon and, well, me, set in 1899. There's no sexual content or bad language, I promise! I hope you have as much fun reading as I did writing! Please read and review!!

But when the prices of papes go up, Brookie is forced to work in close proximity with people who could use her real identity to bring down the "Queens Empire." Will her identity be protected or will it all come tumbling out like the hair in her cap? And what happens if she starts feeling herself going soft for someone she could never be with? There is one good thing about my life though. When ever I get the chance, I'll sneak out of Brooklyn and go to Manhattan. I love it there! I'll hang with my friends and help them sell papes. Plus, that's where the boy I like is. His name is Crutchy.The thing is I have no idea if he likes me back. And if Spot ever found out I liked a boy, he'd end up dead at the bottom of the East River.
