(A Detroit: Become Human fanfiction. Spoilers ahead.) Chloe couldn't admit it, but having her "life" put in the hands of a stranger terrified her. Connor wouldn't admit it, but being used for a "test" - more like entertainment - like this infuriated him. AU in which Chloe doesn't stay.

You are a new police detective in the Detroit police force. And you suffer from anxiety and slight depression. While doing your investigations with your new partners, an android named Connor starts to have positive feelings towards you and starts to develop romantic feelings.

That's right. I'm going to address the question. Also I didn't proof read this and wrote it in the span of 30 minutes so enjoy!! - (Y/N), Hank's twenty-two year old daughter, has just returned from college, for Christmas break. Connor has moved in with Hank, who treats Connor like a son. When Connor and (Y/N) become romantically involved, Hank struggles to figure out what to consider Connor as.

The human race has perfected itself! The short comings and limitations of mankind have been overcome and everything is perfect. Humans have evolved to newer heights, becoming faster, stronger, and more socially tolerant. Almost as if human's have become androids. After years of evolution and cultural development, humans have come to appreciate flaws, both physical and social. They've become a big hit in pop-culture and owning you're own "flawed android" is a sign of social status. Connor is a human who is looking for Android Company when he stumbles upon an add for an HK800. Promptly ordering the Hank android, Connor can't wait to receive his package! This is where our story begins...

Connor struggles with his newfound responsibility of autonomous living. Accustomed to life before deviancy, he finds the ambiguity of choice far too difficult for his taste. You, on the other hand, know exactly what you want and why you want it. Always having been handed the short end of the stick taught you that life didn't wait around for suckers. Connor never understood what emotions were. That was until he met a certain spunky cyborg detective with a hell of a past and a headstrong attitude. So when fate decides to throw these two together, they feel something that can't be described.
