Blake, a cold, no-bullshit taken, FBI agent from New York, comes back to the city she grew up in to solve a string of murders a year after the civil war. When her superiors pair her up with the dynamic duo of Hank Anderson and Connor, she becomes even more resentful. No one knows who (or what) is murdering people in cold blood. There is no correlation between the poor victims, all coming from different backgrounds, ages, and professions. That wasn't going to stop Blake though, she knew that she was born to solve this case. Even if it meant stepping on other detective's toes.

As you can see from the title, this is a Connor x child reader oneshot book. I love the idea of Connor being a cute and overprotective dad but there are very few books on the platform that talk about the subject (at least from what I can find). For weeks now I have had so many scenarios based around that idea in my head that I wanted to be written down. So this is me doing exactly that.
