Put into a separate book, originally was in my RP shenanigans book. This is an ongoing roleplay written by me and my lovely joyfriend, Bee. Modernverse because I said so.

In 1923, a scientist by the name of Alfons Heiderich was shot and killed during a Nazi skirmish in a German Factory; his dream unrealized and his research seemingly forgotten. Until now. In the present, Lorelai "Rory" Gilmore, a young journalist, has recently ended her job as a political campaign writer for the Presidential race and is struggling to find a fresh story. During a requested Gilmore family trip to Europe, she stumbles upon Alfons Heiderich's scientific schematics and unsent letters that are addressed to a man named "Edward". Though Rory may have found the discovery of a lifetime, she soon realizes that these writings are more than meets the eye. Now, Rory must make the decision if the world is ready to know an existence of a parallel world that is ruled by a power called "Alchemy" or if it was better off buried in the past. More problems arise when she crosses paths with a strange golden-eyed, blonde haired man, who claims to be the one of whom the letters are inscribed to. Sometimes, the "Truth" should really just be left alone. ---- Based on the first Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 series. Set after the events of the Conqueror of Shamballa movie and after 7th Season of Gilmore Girls. Warnings: Unlikely Crossover Fanfiction. Slight AU but otherwise, stays original to the canon characters' events and timeline. Possible crossover ships.

Two weeks after Edward Elric's eighteenth birthday he moves in with his new friend Alfons Heidrech in Munich, Germany. While living together and studying rocketry under Dr Oberth, Alfons listens to the strange stories Edward tells. About his real home. First he sees these as mere silly stories but as time goes by Alfons begins to wander if what Edward says is the truth. Meanwhile for Edward, it's been almost two years since he past through the gate, separated from his friends, his brother and his lover Roy Mustang. To a new world where he only knew his father Hoenhiem who left on the night of Edward's birthday. Not knowing what to do, scared and simply lost. Edward stays with the young man who resembles his younger brother Alphonse. As he is the only one he trusts, until he meets a certain former colonel. A Roy x Ed fanfiction

So this one shot was written immediately after I finished the first series and Conqueror of Shamballa. The ending greatly upset me so I decided to write a new one. Ed and Al have still been fighting to get back to Amestris. But then they realize it just can't happen. Ed later meets a girl who greatly resembles the one he was trying to get home to in the first place. Could it really be that Fate was finally in his favor?

High School Senior (and child prodigy) Edward Eric has just given up his home in Amestris to save our world. He somehow manages to return to life as normal, but this time with his brother by his side. The Truth seems to have a cruel sense of humor, when a bully beats up Al and Ed intervenes. (Just read the friggan story😂 I'm bad at writing descriptions without giving away my plot.
