He somehow manages to return to life as normal, but this time with his brother by his side. The Truth seems to have a cruel sense of humor, when a bully beats up Al and Ed intervenes. So this one shot was written immediately after I finished the first series and Conqueror of Shamballa. The ending greatly upset me so I decided to write a new one. Ed and Al have still been fighting to get back to Amestris. But then they realize it just can't happen. Ed later meets a girl who greatly resembles the one he was trying to get home to in the first place. Could it really be that Fate was finally in his favor?
