Being a mere nineteen years old-battling severe depression, social anxiety and fighting my sexuality-I was looking for "Hope" and I was looking for "Progress". In this book, I start out by chronicling my personal political journey, moving from the bowels of the modern left to the opening arms of the modern right. Following this, I lead the reader on a hard-hitting analytical journey, addressing and deftly dismissing some of the modern left's most persuasive and most used tools of narrative. In the end, things are poignantly brought back to home, as I address the overall deficiencies of the liberal idea of "progress" and how this relates to the theme of finding personal meaning in one's own life. This hypersensitive, overly offended culture we all live in is pretty annoying, and I, along with 81% of Americans are honestly quite fed up with this. Far too often it seems that the most sensitive, offended fruitcakes are the ones with the loudest voices. So, how do we stop this cesspool of crybabies?

This is a book about the wonderful creatures on our planet. I will be going over their environments, their treatment in zoos, what status they are on the IUCN redlist. I will go over UK legislation (possibly) and their needs and things. I am very opinionated with this, I grew up around animals and I'm disgusted with how the world is prioritizing us over the animals that have no control over what we do. I am also studying an animal based-course so I will do my best to use some scientific wording (and will explain the meaning of it). Because of my education and wanting to go to Uni, I may be a little on and off with posting but, I will be doing my best. Since 2008 I had been posting my opinions at online discussion boards. In late 2020 I started a blog called The Other Liberal as my own space to write longer more reflective pieces. These posts cover the period from December 2020 to March 2022. Some are abstract while others are more topical. Race is often dealt with, because unlike many Liberals I'm a working-class black man. I believe that Liberalism despite its shortcomings is still the best politics to ensure a freer and more livable America for all. To me that means a fair economy built on shared prosperity that benefits working people as well as the wealthy and huge corporations. Furthermore no one should be excluded from that prosperity because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. To me individual liberty is the equal right to every American. Whether you agree or disagree keep that in mind as you read these pieces that give a definition of Liberalism, deal with the poor, labor unions, Conservatives, the working class, and race.
