It's just some random writing to stretch out the fingers for a good school year. Kinda. Nonfiction to fanfiction, it's kind of a mess, but I like it that way. And for all the AUs, I don't own the characters at all. I just love them. Simple as that. Credit to the awesome writers who made said characters come to life. I'm an absolute sap for the AUs.

Imagine a world where schizophrenia isn't considered a mental illness, but is actually a complex and diabolical scheme the government invented to take control of those who have been 'diagnosed'. In reality, that population have actually been born with a gift that gives them the ability to see into other dimensions and communicate to those that live within it - but that ability has been labelled as 'delusions' and 'psychosis'. These gifts are extremely powerful, and the governments around the world have been threatened by these abilities for centuries as they view them as a threat to their power. Written by AI after I gave it the prompt and guidance, this story delves into what this could be like. Enjoy...

"I can't run anymore! Seriously!" Kay shouted. At this point she was stumbling through the maze of vines and tree roots. "Fuck it, Kay!" I barked. This wasn't a joke anymore. We actually had something to be scared of. I looked back, about to urge Kay to move her big ass along. But Kay had reached her limits. She tripped over a tree root, promptly hit her head, and passed out. I stopped and stared for a minute, but then remembered that I had to keep moving. Kay was gone. She was over. In this world, its every person for themselves. So I kept running. I kept my eyes locked on a tall tree looming on the horizon. And that was my biggest mistake. Not setting my house on fire, not running away from home, not even failing to save Kay. My biggest mistake was not looking down. Because that fall, that one fall, was the end.

    |On-going| Sarah Hilton had a past that was catching up to her. For that reason, she avoided men at all cost. The only friend she had in her corner was Christina and now that she was planning an upcoming wedding and raising a family, Sarah felt a little left behind. Still, it unsettled her that playboy Collum Davenport was giving her so much attention. Breaking through his façade was one of the many things that she wanted to do to him. Summoned back home due to an assassination attempt, Sarah would have to learn to keep her friends close, her enemies closer and lovers at arm's length. Collum Davenport was a player and he knew it. Gone was the fumbling teen who worked hard to please the girl. Gone were the innocent blushes and stammering that always occur. Instead, he rebuilt himself to be confident, sexy, and sleek. He learned from his pal Matt to command every situation and never lose control. He was in for a major surprise when he encountered the blue eye leggy blonde, hiding an even bigger secret. He knew not to trust her, but it didn't mean he wasn't willing to play. After all, women were all the same... spiteful bitches that were always on the prowl. Like instruments, he played them to his favorite tune. Passions will run wild, lust will take precedence, and secrets will come to light. These two must learn to trust each other, for they are all they've got. With enemies lurking around every corner Collum finds himself relying on skills that he didn't think he would ever need to use again. It is up to Sarah to uncover the truth and to learn that a dark heart can't exist without light. © 2018 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED JALISSA PASTORIUS
