Conspiracy-theory Stories

Short stories are a great place to experiment with concepts and ideas and this is a short piece (even for a short story) which combines those end-of-the-world 80s movies with a few of the many conspiracies that are out there. Sorry if that offends anyone. Actually no I'm not. If you don't like it, don't read it. The story isn't true, it's not my opinion or in any way meant to attack anyone. It's just one of those "What if..." scenarios and I think it's a little humorous too. If anyone is interested, I might write more of these - I've got a few ideas in mind. Please let me know!

He is forbidden to have friends. He is chained up at night. He has an insatiable hunger for raw meat. But this summer, the monster is coming out of the closet.

Consumer Warning: This story was written as nothing more than an attempt to break years-long writer's block, and began with literally no plans for plot, character, or even genre. This is unedited, apart from deleting lines and words that were to be excised - I left in ((in double brackets)) edit notes and bits to be added later. Bearing all that in mind, this is a conspiracy-theory detective story with a romantic sub-plot.
