In a world where stories have become a death sentence, no one dares to write anymore. One by one, writers fall after finishing their works, as if reality itself rejects the stories they create. Fear spreads, and silence takes over, until one name continues to write despite it all: Virella Syllavine. Known by many as a symbol of misfortune, Virella lives on the edge of a broken world filled with conflict, loss, and hopelessness. While others turn away from storytelling, she clings to it. Not because she believes in happy endings, but because writing is the only thing that keeps her going. Haunted by recurring dreams of a mysterious child she cannot seem to reach, Virella begins to draw inspiration from something she doesn't fully understand. Her stories grow darker, yet strangely captivating, becoming the only escape left for people in a world that has forgotten what hope feels like. But the more she writes, the more reality itself seems to shift. As whispers of an unseen "curse" spread and the line between fiction and reality begins to blur, Virella finds herself at the center of something far greater than a simple story. Something hidden. Something fundamental. A world governed by rules no one can see.
A narrative that cannot simply be changed.
And a question that refuses to be ignored... What if reality was never meant to be followed... but rewritten? ~ Dear reader... do you think a story can change the world, or does something "Constant" decide how every story ends? ~

This is my first collection of poems.

As soon as Marx found out that he had the Blood of the Pharaohs, he wanted to be a magician. He's been at the Brooklyn House for two years, but he's horrid at all types of magic. Blithe is a bookworm, that's how she found out about the Brooklyn House. She has nearly no magic in her reserves, she has to rely entirely on her patron goddess for magic. If she makes one wrong move, she could lose her life. There's a reason she doesn't have any magic in her reserves, though, and if the magician government find out her secret, she will be forced to a life of exile, but someone has already found out, and it's only a matter of time before they tell.

Captain of the football team, Constant Dufour, was someone who seemed like he had the perfect life. He excelled in school and had the opportunity to become valedictorian in the near future. You'd never happen to catch a frown on his face as he always seemed super joyous and happy. Ignoring all those high-school clichés, he was actually one of the nicest guys around in that school, which seemed to annoy the hell out of Noah Payne. Noah Payne was someone who preferred being around a small group of friends and typically was the one to keep most of his personal life to himself. While he wasn't particularly shy and could go up to just about anyone and say hello to them with no issue, he just didn't like the idea of being surrounded by so many people. He's not what people would call a typical "nerd," as he didn't act like it at all. He never played any video games, he didn't wear any glasses, and didn't really... look like he'd belong in that clique. However, he was smart. He was the one who was in the top of all his classes until Constant came around. That alone would've made him hate the kid, if only he wasn't always so nice to him. -=+=- Now worry not - this story won't be your typical jock x nerd story. It's way more than that.
