A recent apocalypse has wiped out the majority of humanity. The remaining city, Rheaum, has built high walls around itself, allowing nature to reclaim the world. In order to avoid overpopulation and pollution, the government has split society into two halves- Cunae and Terrenen. One half of the society goes into hibernation for six months out of the year, alternating. When Cunae is awake, Terrenen sleeps, and vice versa. The people in these separate societies live comfortable lives. Until, of course, the 25th awakening, and the people of Terrenen are thrown into chaos.

Consternation noun 1. a sudden, alarming amazement or dread that results in utter confusion; dismay. We all have something that keeps us up at night, something that makes our blood run cold. the fear that lives in our veins is more powerful than anything that any comic book hero could comprehend. But fear is not safe. its dangerous. It can poison the mind and leads us to an eternal dismay, when we realise we are living in a world where we are terrified of ourselves. I, find it tragic, really.
