Nemesis Elpis Marquez Antonio knows the beauty of Manila, a city of breathtaking sunsets and vibrant life, yet one where justice remains elusive, a cruel paradox etched into its very soul. An aspiring lawyer, she's a warrior forged in the fires of a brutal past. Her days as a Political Science student were a blur of family strife and the chilling certainty of death threats, each exam a gamble against a fate that seemed determined to crush her. Those haunting memories; the regrets, the unanswered "what ifs" fuel her relentless pursuit of justice, a burning ember against the city's indifference. This isn't just another legal battle; it's a visceral fight for survival, a desperate dance with death played out in high-stakes courtrooms and clandestine midnight rendezvous. Betrayal is a familiar sting, the lines between right and wrong blurring as she risks everything to champion the voiceless, to bring light to the darkness that shrouds even the most beautiful cityscapes. This is Nemesis's story: a heart-pounding journey through Manila's vibrant yet unjust heart, where the ghosts of her past hold the key to her future, and every victory is a hard-won battle for the truth, a testament to the resilience of hope in the face of despair. Would she make it until the end? - @Crimzon_HeLL.

A highly regarded Professor of Constitutional Law, Professor Patrick Ramirez sets his senior class of law students on an unorthodox project to conduct a tribunal to determine if the United States Congress is abiding by the constitution. And as the project grows and takes form, it begins to garner the attention of the entire campus body student body, becoming a campuswide event that sets the stage for a real-life courtroom drama. But when technology and the viral nature of social media claw its way into the mix, the Public Tribunal quickly becomes a social media event available to everyone with a handheld device. As the Tribunal convenes, Daniel Collins, acting as judge, quickly loses control of the trial as the doors in the back of the auditorium burst open and a man wheels a cart down the aisle to the front of the auditorium. The man begins to rant, announcing he has hard evidence that the United States Congress has indeed violated the constitution, and it is quickly apparent that he is not part of the Constitutional Law class. As the intruder announces he has set up a web address where the evidence can be found, a second intrusion occurs as Federal Agent Brad Tillis of the FBI enters the auditorium with his agents to seize any and all evidence. As the action moves into overdrive, the players move deeper and deeper into the rabbit holes of conspiracy. And with the focus of the nation fixed on the Tribunal, the internet proves that once information is posted it is almost impossible to erase. Read along as the Washington establishment run for cover as a nation unites in its quest for truth and change.

None knows when Manu Smriti had its last sway, if at all, over the Indian polity but still the Hindu castes that it slighted lazily hold it against the Brahmins that it once exalted, and ominously, the evangelists cynically bash Hinduism with it to lure the former into their Semitic fold. However, this essay is not an exercise to endorse the extinct Smriti per se but an attempt to expose the perceptive vacuity and the intellectual dishonesty, as the case may be, of its debunkers.

In Sept. 2022, Texas signed into law S.B. 8, nicknamed the "Heartbeat Act," that functionally bans abortion and empowers private citizens to seek civil monetary damages (no less than $10k per violation + fees) against medical providers or other "aiders and abettors." What is the impact of these criminal law keywords being using in a Tort claim? How can this Bill be modified to not violate constitutional rights of pregnant people and other third parties? This is a developing story.
