A narrative poem going through the story of a bird's struggle and its experience with freedom and constraint. (Inspired by Attack on Titan)

Proses are red. Poetry's blue. The writer's doggerel's a tale of woe.

This is my first etheree constraint poem.

Akiko's almond-shaped eyes, with a glint of mystery, met Kaito's for a fleeting moment. In that exchange, an unspoken connection sparked like flint striking steel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "In the heart of Edo-era Japan, where honor is a steel blade and tradition binds tighter than a kimono sash, 'Samurai's Forbidden Tale' unfolds. Within the shadow of feudal castles and amidst the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms, the tale weaves a captivating tapestry of love, honor, and forbidden desire. Follow the journey of Kaito, a devoted young samurai, whose loyalty to his clan is unyielding, until he meets Akiko, a beguiling geisha with a secret as deep as the night. In a world where duty and love collide like opposing tides, their love story becomes a daring dance between the sword and the heart.

This is my second Diamante poem I have written. The theme is opposites; end and beginning as you must know the beginning to face the end. Love, peace and freedom, Olan

Hailing from India, I've been exposed to people from varied economic strata. Always had a knick for interacting with different people, this is my first attempt at penning down a short note on my observations. Its also shedding light on things that I value the most.

Changeling poetry is constraint form I believe I have created, but i also know nothing is new under the sun so if you are familiar with this form let me know. i call it metamorphosis. A/N below the poem explains the style. Olan

This is a narrative poem written in free-verse constraint. The model of the constraint is the first two stanza of Poe's poem Ulalume. The message is to heed the effects of global warming on the Earth and not ignore the human fingerprints on it.
