John Watson had refused to be around him because it hurt his heart to see Sherlock in such a desperate and broken state. John pleaded with Sherlock to stop destroying himself, but the stubborn man just wouldn't listen. Watson figured that Sherlock had left when his birthday came around and he didn't get an anonymous text that he was waiting for. And she was dead too. Sherlock Holmes was declared missing two years and one hundred twenty seven days ago. And after two years of this secluded life out in the middle of nowhere, an unsuspected visitor comes and finds Sherlock at his hidden door. Confused and high, what will the retired consulting detective do when a young fifteen year old girl shows up with a letter addressed to her from him? When he doesn't even have access to a mailbox? I have taken canon characters from the original Sherlock Holmes novels and turned their story into a modern day mystery just like the Sherlock Holmes on BBC we know and love - with a little twist ;) #10 in ireneadler *PG-13 for drug use/reference and language
