We'll be prepared to shoot these awkward walking dead in the face, find shelter and fight for survival; all of us, mostly because we've seen them in movies, books and videogames, in all of their possible variations. So how could a REAL zombie outbreak turn out to be? Find out in this comedy novel, a mix of "Zombieland" and "The Emperor's New Groove"

The resulting vaccine caused the virus to mutate and released a infection which kills any human and turns them into a flesh craving reanimated corpse. Two tribes of humans came about in the times following the fall of human civilization as it once was. They now struggled to come together and survive THE INFECTED. Set in a possible near future. The world has been absolutely turned up side down by an unknown cause. The story is set around the Flashbacks of Jess while she faces the choice no sister should have to make. (The story is a 'fill-in" as there is no right or wrong details for the reader, the reader themselves decide.)

When death is near the brain acts. Adrenaline surges to fight the threat. The body can sustain this response for several minutes. Paroxysmovirus causes the disease. Rage-X never lets the brain stop. I felt cold. There was a blanket wrapped around me tightly like bounds on a slave, and yet, it did not help me from freezing over. My hands were shaking and my eyes felt heavy, and I had no idea why. Having no recollection of how I got here, or even who I was, I called out in a desperate attempt to find out. "Hello?" I called, my voice strained."Is anyone there?" I could feel a hot breath tickle my neck. I swallowed bile. I quickly realized that I wasn't alone.

Guillermo Montenegro looks up his old high school friend Alex online to see if maybe he calmed down in the past few years or if he was actually serious about trying to wipe out most of humanity. Turns out Alex teaches microbiology at a university, so maybe he isn't chill? This, of course, is deeply concerning to Guillermo. As a public health worker, extermination of large swaths of humanity is clearly misaligned with his personal goal of keeping people healthy. He begins to investigate his old friend more carefully.
