'Fragments' captures some of my thoughts, feelings and struggles as a twenty three year old. It includes some short poems right out of my late night notepad entries. I hope my poems resonate with you. If they do, hi-five mate! You're not in this alone <3 Do upvote mate 🙃❤️

I'm running out of explanations here. I'm winging it. I'm always winging it. The title just felt right and damn, here we are. It's poetry so if it's not your thing, you might like it. Occasionally, it may be a little prose, depending on the feeling but we'll try to keep it consistent. Does anyone ever even read these things? Ok it's about a boy, a lonely boy. Sometimes he feels like he's a thousand leagues under the sea. Other times, it's like he's been severed from reality. Whatever that means. This boy, just wants the world to understand him. But it has no obligation to. So he's stuck on the outskirts of everything and everything else hoping for some sense of clarity. It never comes. It never will. This is a documentation, of his never ending pursuit. That was decent, right? I do love letters, letter letters, confessions, police statements on the side, in case you need them. Basically, I'll handle the ever living heaven out of your writing needs. The sick part, is that it's free so feel free.. to blast the message board and I'll take the time I usually use to do something constructive and meaningful to tend to your requests. This collection of poems explores the search for stillness and quiet within both natural and urban landscapes. The poems often contrast a world of noise and motion-from the "muted roar" of a sleeping city to the "hurried river" of people-with moments of solitary peace. They find a silent wisdom in old books, a steady hope in a lonely lighthouse, and a "quiet hush" in the falling rain.

They were childhood friends. She was always on his mind, even in his last moments. What is so wrong with loving someone that only exists in your head?

Anything can happen if you desire it strongly enough, but does that mean that the anything that follows is worthwhile? Is it even the right path for you in the first place? The universe is a delicate balancing scale. Every joy must be followed by a sorrow as a direct byproduct, every tragedy must inadvertently lead to the creation of a new mode of peace and of satiation, as from every fire must rise a phoenix, and for the emergence of a new phoenix a fire must be ignited. To desire for the blossom of the new shoot without the killing of the old root is a futile task. What if one could live within the moment of realization of this futility for eternity?
