Adrian let out a low laugh, dragging a hand across his face in disbelief.
"Are you sure you want to lose your first time to a notorious player like me?"
Lydia rolled her eyes. "I'm choosing you because you're the safest option."
One dark brow arched. "That's a bold assumption."
"Please." She snorted. "You're completely incapable of falling in love."
Adrian chuckled, cocking his head. "The future isn't set in stone, Lyds. Besides, most women find me pretty irresistible."
"Lucky for me, I'm not most women."
A slow grin spread across his face.
"So, what's it going to be? Deal or no deal, Rivera?"
He held her gaze for a moment before extending his hand.
"It's a deal," he said. "On one condition."
Lydia narrowed her eyes. "Which is?"
"I call the shots, wife."
