The Trinity Connection: Correlation of Worlds is the first book in a trilogy. It is set in and around the area of Savernake Forest. The series focuses on three friends; River, Brooke and Teddy. These three friends are the Trinity. River and Brooke are 10-year-old twins who along with their friend Teddy Jacobs investigate the strange phenomena occurring in their local area. The encounter the Hum, crop circles, phantom planes, ghosts, vampires, Merlin and a Roman centurion. River and Brooke come from an old and magical family whose ancestors practiced witchcraft. Their mother is also a practicing witch and the family have many ancient resources such as the Cauldron of Arwen to help and aid them. In this first book they begin to unravel the mystery as to why these strange phenomena are happening. It also brings them close to danger with the disappearance of Teddy and the arrival of an old family member. The book is written in a lively tone with humour throughout. Though at times the frightening and sad themes are counterbalanced by the characters' antics. There are also two family pets that feature strongly in telling the story. Through their investigations the Trinity discover that Merlin has opened the doorway between dimensions and worlds. River, Brooke and Teddy must close the doorway or else the world will be destroyed.
