And the human being isn't a center, but a passage between dimensions of perception, memory, and thought that never fully align. These are fragments of something that couldn't remain a fragment. Paradoxical truths, written from the edge of a system that never finishes itself. And perhaps... from a place where finishing was never the point.

Our Hearts Become Entangled by Death and the Sea is a short story contradicting love, the beautiful things life gives us, loneliness, and the connotation of death. A lonely boy who works a lighthouse, A prestigious society girl who wants a happy life, and fate bring the two together, as death plays an acquaintance. Many of the work I have done such as The Girl in the Yellow Dress, a short screen write that was submitted to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Young Playwright contest, is also a tragic tale of love and fate. A deranged 17 year old turns to travelling to find the meaning of falling in love with the ones he follows and using them for pleasure. Waking up to reality alone would cause severe shock and instant imprisonment. Without his identity, he's an ordinary boy looking for a job, but does he already have one or is that just a pleasurable hobby?

This morning ,I woke up and opened my eyes to take my sweet time adoring my new beautiful bedroom. Never in my life, I would dare to think I could have such a beautiful room to myself. My life for the last decades, I always have to share with my roommate while working multiple part time jobs to support myself. Last night was the first night, I moved here to live with my husband. We are contracted husband and wife.He doesn't want to be involved in forced marriage and I needed the money for my university tuition fees and to support myself. My graduation ceremony had just been celebrated. My internship start soon. we met coincidentally on a rainy day. Circumstances keep bringing us back to each other somehow. Even though the future seem uncertain but I'm gonna enjoy my present to the max. who knows what our future will be like? we both don't. Time has really passed by fast, it's been several years since we signed the contract. It's a win-win situation for both of us.

The mind is lost in its thoughts, the heart doesn't want to say no and the soul is being pulled back and forth... confusion and uncertainty spread like wild fire...shattering darkness takes over but...we can heal, can't we?

This short story is narrated by the thoughts inside Jee's head that look out his mind like glass, hence the title. Is the narration Jee's actual thoughts? No. The thoughts have a mind of their own. In Jee's mind, he has no thoughts. His thoughts are busy narrating everything they see him do. His thoughts are restraining him from escaping. He's absent from reality. Who's the villain in this story?

Axel, also known as "The Untouchable," he is not someone anyone wants to get near. He's a cocky bastard that flaunts around his inhuman strength and he is always picking fights; yet could that all be nothing but a front? Could Axel, the untouchable first born son of a gang leader, be an actual human with real emotions and dreams? Impossible! Right...?
