We are coins-two sides of the same token. Most are made of copper, others of silver, and some of gold. The Perfects. The gold coins. Like the gleaming pieces of precious metal they are, they are flawless, radiant, the very embodiment of perfection. The Ordinaries. People like you and me. They are normal, and hence the name: ordinary. As vast as the sea, they are silver coins, those who have not yet achieved perfection. The Coppers. Copper coins oxidize as time moves on, slowly losing their luster, their worth, their ability to shine. Finally, they are worth the least. These are the ones who failed to forge an identity. Those who fail work their lives away to support society. That is their only purpose. "Nothingness" is where the Mistakes go after they have finished their term. And if they don't? Well, I suppose this is why this journal was made. This world is not fueled by greed, wealth, power, or beauty. The only thing that will guarantee your survival is...
