Melody, a shy 17 year old, gets spotted for her talent of singing quite by chance one day in England, and her family is soon shipped off to America so she can attend the Hollywood Academy of Music and Arts, but with the weight of the move already on her shoulders is mean girl Lyra going to forever make everything much harder for her? Or is there a darker secret hiding behind every move Lyra makes? With help from her new friend, Alex, will Melody find out the truth? This poem is something I wrote a few months ago while I was struggling a bit with my identity.

This is a "diary" of emotions (some personal & some random thoughts I written), not a diary filled with pointless routines within a day. And I would like to share this with all of you because another path to self healing is through acceptance and belonging. WE are not alone.

You matter a lot to me, even if you don't matter to yourself. A contradicting short love(?) story. There's always a purpose for contradiction. -Finished: 2/10/19-

Five teens all discover they have powers. But they come to realise these powers aren't exactly what they had hoped for. Will they be able to over come there fears and learn to use their powers or will fear be the death of them.

A short story expressed in a poem.

Somehow relatable poems, and a way of venting long kept feelings.

Where does the definition change? Hot to cold? Near to far? Such contradictory when contemplating our life's trickery. Look at our history. Certainly foreshadows our future, but definitely nothin more than fictional stories. How could this be?

Thoughts that do not match with my own actions. Contradictory words that compliment one another. A short scape from reality to the dark yet soathing fantasy that differs by day.
