This story starts with a 15 year old girl called Summer Thomson being a patient who is trapped in The Ward. After being stuck in there for 10 years and seeing all of her friends/other patients being taken she finally understands that she needs to escape the dreadful place once and for all. All of this changes however when The Doctor introduces the newest patient Aurora Fields. Aurora Fields is 14 years old and doesn't understand how terrible The Ward truly is. Just like all the other patients trapped there Aurora has been brainwashed by The Doctor into believing she needs to be in The Ward. Once meeting this new girl Summer is stuck trying to decide wether to just get out of The Ward as soon as she can or wether to try and save this new girl from suffering the same fate she did for so many years.

"Frisk, I wanna ask you something." Chara said, looking at their partner. "What is it, Chara?" they asked, as curious as ever. "Do you think I would still become the Yang to your Yin if the player never controlled us?" Frisk shook their head, denying the notion. "Thought so." Chara said, looking at the reset button.
