Hidden & Forbidden is a story about Spencer's journey of going to a private, religious conversion therapy camp in rural Alabama called "Born Again." Spencer will undergo lots of trauma, pain, and self-hate.. and he must find a path out through hiding his true self and acting as if the therapy is working. But his plan to do so proves to be nearly impossible when a new member, Tucker - a tall, athletic, and genuine guy who is one year older than Spencer... is added to the group a week later. Spencer Anderson is a 16-year-old teenager growing up in the traditional area of Huntsville, Alabama. Growing up in a strict and traditional, Baptist household with his mother, father (who is also a pastor), and little sister, Spencer has found himself with little to no freedom to explore and find out who he is and what he wants to do. While looking around his room, his mother finds some same-sex romance books and drawings hidden in Spencer's room - and this was the moment Spencer's life would change forever.

The O.A.O.C. Clinic is a safe haven for those who have lost their way.
