Joseph Neilson is a human, living in the outskirts of the vampire city, Lukenhall. Captured, Joseph has to face the major punishment of Lukenhall, which is considered to be worse than death.

This is an odd story I wrote before becoming a writer. I was studying in France and I was strongly involved in political activism. I eventually came to the point where I had to choose between continuing my career and getting into the higher ranks of the hierarchy or staying faithful to my convictions. I despised the world I was studying to get into but on the other hand I was scared to end up poor like my parents and struggle at the end of every month. I made this dream while sleeping next to my girlfriend. I remember waking up sweating like hell. The story my mind told me that night was strangely precise and, I believe, was linked to what was going on in my life at the time. If you would like it to be categorised, I believe it is a political fable but I am not sure. I also believe this text needs no other introduction than its founding story. It is very short and I hope you like it.
