Emma's life was never perfect. She never had the nice house, white picket fence and a beautiful labrador puppy. She never wanted any of that anyway. All she ever wanted was loving parents for her and her sister. She's come to terms with the fact that it's never going to happen. Mike had it even worse. But for him it's in the past and all he wants to do is move on and forget. But it's not as easy as it sounds. Then one day there paths cross in the most unlikley of situations...

Amy Star is the usual fifteen year old girl, who leads a normal life. She has a brother called Edward, a sister called Ammy and her best friend, Rachael. No one knows that she really has a crush on Samuel Thompson, her 'rival', who as Amy finds out more about him, turns out to be very cold-hearted. One day when she is told she has to play Alice, she can almost feel her whole life changing. Before she knows it, she's a teen idol, a star shining brightly. Then a big, big crisis happens. And Amy's not sure if she can carry on being on TV, with all the wounds even the highest technology wouldn't be able to hide. Should she carry on being a teen idol, or should she go back to her original dream that was to be a maths professor?

Now a lot of people have tried to guess who I am, it's usually the "stuck up rich girl who got everything handed to her." It's the truth. It's not like I didn't want to stand on my own, it's just that my entire life I let my parents convince me I was crazy and couldn't do anything on my own. So I had to, I had to get away because I just knew there was something more for me in Paris... or perhaps someone. "This is the love story I've been waiting for..." "That one-of-a-kind fairytale princess dream..." Clyde grabbed my hand and brought me closer to the edge. The view was breathtaking, I couldn't do anything but stare. I felt as if all of my senses became heightened. I could smell the food from miles away, see people walking the streets, and hear the sounds of late-night street performers. Just then I realized that Clyde had let go of my hand, and I turned to see him down on one knee...
