She was placed in his path on purpose. The photograph was not an accident. What Eclipse Entertainment called damage control-fifty pages of contract clauses and manufactured milestones-was supposed to be a product. Two careers. One fabricated intimacy. A bargain neither of them agreed to. What no one planned was that the lie would crack open. Faith Monroe was a biracial Black-and-Korean solo artist trying to hold her identity together within an industry that wanted a manageable portion of it. Kang Jaehun was a veteran idol leader who had been performing dependability for so long that he had forgotten where the performance ended. They were forced into a fake relationship, then a staged proposal, then a real marriage neither of them had chosen, and somewhere inside all of that, something real began. But the real thing was the most dangerous thing either of them had ever touched. This was a slow burn across sixteen years. It included a decade of industry machinery, a love that took years to become honest, a postpartum crisis that nearly ended everything, a divorce, and the brutal, slow work of two people becoming worth a second chance. It included an anti-fan who poisoned a drink, a group of five boys who became men and lost each other along the way, a grandmother who died refusing to name her own great-grandchildren, and a rooftop where a man sat for three hours, wondering if the city would notice if he never came down. It did not fade to black. It did not look away. It told the whole truth. Mature themes throughout. Explicit content. Mental health. Medical realism. Racism depicted in full. This is a story about the cost of being seen when the world would rather look away, and about the specific miracle of two people who learned to see each other clearly. ©️ _RelleLebby_//R.L.

Ashton Maddox wasn't looking to start over. He was just trying to survive. After his wife, Lauren, walked away from their marriage and signed away her parental rights, Ashton was left to raise their daughter, Everly alone-juggling bakery demands, bedtime rituals, and the slow unraveling of his mental health. The divorce was clean on paper. But the aftermath was anything but. Grief turned into exhaustion. Exhaustion turned into dependency. And before long, Ashton was drowning in addiction-quietly, invisibly, until he hit rock bottom. He lost himself. Nearly lost the bakery. And came dangerously close to losing the one person who needed him most: Everly. She'd already lost one parent. She shouldn't have to lose another. But Ashton wasn't alone. Caden Rivera-his best friend, his anchor, and his partner at Willow & Rye-never left. Neither did the quiet network of people who loved him. Caden was the one who found him, stayed with him, and helped him rebuild. Not with grand gestures, but with flour-dusted mornings, shared responsibilities, and the kind of emotional safety that doesn't ask for anything in return. Their bond is laced with mutual pining, slow-burning tension, and the kind of love that doesn't demand attention-it simply waits. And while Ashton doesn't fully realize it yet, the tenderness Caden offers is reshaping him. Not just into someone sober-but into someone who believes he's still worthy of love. At the heart of Ashton's healing is Everly, whose bedtime rituals and stuffed fox, Ashy, anchor their world in comfort and routine. Through her, Ashton begins to see what love looks like when it's gentle, consistent, and real.

The definition of co-parenting is a process where two parents work together to raise a child even though they are divorced or separated and no longer live together. An example of co-parenting is when a divorced mother and father share legal and physical custody of their child. Some x reader of course, because that's how I run stuff. Basically, you have your ex-husband Jacob (why the hell are you dating someone named Jacob), he cheated on you and you left his ass. That was two years ago. You two had been married for 10 years, and you have two kids. Oscar, who is 7 and traumatized. And Kylie who is 3 and doesn't understand the world. You have 75 percent custody, so they basically live with you full time because Jacob moved to another state. This takes place in America by the way, if you couldn't tell. Covid hit and Jacob was visiting when it hit and he wasn't able to fly back, so this is just your quarantine journey together really. You hate his guts but fall for his charm once again, as you guys co-parent together. A lot of stuff is about to go down, a lot of interesting things. No matter what happens you both fall in love again and it's cute. There are some spicy chapters as one would say, not really, but yes really. Yeah, enjoy! Just cliffhangers to keep people interested and annoyed. I was day dreaming, just trying to sleep and this idea came into my mind, so yeah!

Everybody wears masks. Physical or metaphorical. Sometimes both. Sometimes more than one. And the reasons may vary. Some aim to better the way they're perceived. While others seek to protect themselves and those around them. Some people wear masks to dissociate from their lives. And others do it to justify their actions-however honorable or barbaric they may be-without consequence. Most importantly, masks cover the rawest version of oneself. A person who wears a mask actively chooses to hide a truth about themselves. To deceive others so as to never be forced to acknowledge who they are at their core. They are not to be trusted. Or It's been six months since Bruce donned the suit for the first time. Six months of readjusting his entire social life for one mission. One city. He finds out he underestimated the toll it'd have on him. You'd think it gets easier-playing up the charm at parties, dodging suspicions, making up believable excuses. It takes great time and effort, but Bruce Wayne's nothing if not determined. Yet, what's he to do when one bored woman he accidentally let into his life starts to dig too much too fast? Well, Alfred *did* say he'd need allies. Maybe even friends. || Also on AO3 ||
