Coraline Jones. What happened after the incident.

Coraline was a staple of my adolescence. I used to be so obsessed with the story that I would memorize chapters after listening to the audiobook everyday. I wrote Neil Gaiman a fan mail when I was 11. I'm 22 now. I always wondered what would happen next. This is just an idea from someone who loves the story and wants to remain true to the original text (ofc with my own creativity). I really hope you like it and continue on this journey with me. Coraline thought everything would be fine and go back to normal after she escaped the other mother, or as she thought she escaped.

Coraline, a girl who had a horrific childhood due to her 'other mother.' Coraline becomes traumatized but is with her real parents due to the end. Coraline grows more and more curious about her other mother. Many years pass by, Coraline always wanted a child married to her husband, Wybie. They then try many times Coraline realizes she can't get pregnant. She grows angry, furious her husband Wybie had tried to divorce her. Coraline makes him stay and threatened to sew buttons in his eyes. Wybie had tried to run away, Coraline sewed buttons into his eyes. Then, she did the same thing to herself traumatizing her own childhood over and over again. Coraline starts to grow just like her other mother. The cat that had stayed with Coraline and Wybie since their childhood got comfortable with Coraline. What happens next? What did Coraline do? Why is the cat comfortable then ever now?

It's only been a few months since Coraline braved the Other World's Other Mother and she keeps telling herself that it's over. That she's safe now and never has to worry about the witch ever again. But when her new friend find's herself trapped in the Other World, she has to go back and find her before the Other Mother does. But hey, at least she's got some friends on her side this time.

As Coraline turns 18 She starts hearing mysterious voices from the dark and in her dreams.She founds a black button key in her drawer and than the things start being weird...

Its been six years since Coraline had beaten the Beldam at her own game and it has been four years since they moved out of the Pink Palace. Like most children growing up, Coraline was supposed to forget about the Beldam. She was supposed to move on from such a harrowing experience but life has a twisted way of bringing her back to the very root of her nightmares and just like what happened the first time around, Coraline got another doll.
