A Voltron rewrite/fix-it fic with Kidge as the main pairing. Garrison High has some secrets, but they quickly realize it's not just about the Garrison, or even just the school systems; what happens at the Garrison could affect everyone. From the Galra threats, to the tight-lipped Alteans, the paladins must do their best for the good of society... or there may not be a society for them to save. In an alternate reality, Zarkon gains the upper hand and conquers earth after a time of peace. While team Voltron celebrated peace throughout the galaxy the Galra Empire has secretly been multiplying its numbers. Now several systems are being taken over with no one to oppose them. Voltron has been captured by the Galra and has been used to destroy planets rather then to defend them.

What happens with the team when Lance gets in a accident? Will they still function like a good team? Will Voltron survive?

A lot of things worried him, and a lot of things scared him. But no matter the danger he pressed on. Because he wasn't fighting for himself. He wasn't even fighting for his team. They could take care of themselves. They were strong in so many ways he wasn't. No. He fought for earth. For the ones who couldn't fight for themselves. For the family back on that blue planet that was waiting for him to come home with the same goofy grin he always had. He was fighting with his heart. And with their memories at his back and his friends by his side, well It sure can make a man feel Unstoppable. ((Not 100% sure what this is going to contain yet.
