Raine, the only son to a disgraced, impoverished noble house. When the previous Exalt of Ylisse was still in charge, Raine's father was one of his top generals in the war against Plegia. After the death of the Exalt, however, the many crimes he committed during his time in the army were exposed. The disgusting nature of the man was finally revealed. As such, he was imprisoned and many of his valuables were confiscated, leaving his wife and child nobles in name only. Growing up with the stigma of being the son of a disgraced noble, Raine was shunned by commoners and nobles alike. As such, he learned to rely on himself from a young age, learning swordsmanship and other skills useful to a young lord. Once he finally reached the age of 17, Raine set out as a hired blade, earning a fair income for his near-destitute mother, hoping to raise enough to return his family to true nobility. However, once he turned 20, his mother passed away from a disease she had kept hidden from him for many years. With nowhere else to turn, Raine joined the Shepherds. Since he had nobody else to fight for, he decided to dedicate his life to protecting the innocent people of Ylisse, and to serve the son of the Exalt who had taken away his father. This is a fanfiction inspired by season 3 "Coven" of American Horror Story. It's a bit clichè, but it's the story of a newfound witch who discovers herself, thanks to her teacher Cordelia. Cordelia Collins is an energetic, excited, and sometimes strange, 19 year-old. She lives in a small cottage house with her adoptive mother, and is perfectly content with her job at the local bakery. She knows everybody in town, except for the new teacher. The Wonderful Cordelia is based in 1890's London, and tells the tale of a Victorian Era comedy, full of romance, laughter, and love.
