Set after the events of Chain of Gold. Cordelia Carstairs, now an engaged woman, tries to navigate her way through a life that has drastically changed. James Herondale, now an engaged man, grapples with his family heritage and feelings for a girl who is as cold as ice. Matthew Fairchild, struggling with his own guilt, realizes that he has more desires than just drinking. A certain desire that no one must know - especially James. Lucie Herondale, fascinated by a certain ghost boy, feels compelled to do something that will result in breaking the Clave law. Emotions and danger run wild as the evil that Cordelia, James, Matthew and Lucie thought was gone, never really was. Now, they must defeat it while grappling with their own personal issues and emotions. Will they be able to save London? 'The Shadows of Angels' is a short story mostly inspired by the Shadowhunters Chronicles written by Cassandra Clare. Though, it doesn't feature any particular character or any particular coherence with the books. The main character was strongly inspired by Cordelia Carstairs from The Last Hours trilogy. I just wanted to write a short and fun story about two (badass) girls fighting a demon in 1870s London. If you like Shadowhunters and stories about demons and most importantly !slaying! demons, then I'm pretty sure you'll like this one. ('The Shadows of Angels' was written in the context of one of my uni classes, I had to respect an amount of 3.000 words.)

I cannot handle waiting for more of a story on my new favorite set of shadowhunters, so I'm wrting it. I will of course credit our queen, Cassadra Clare with the characters, world, and cover. I'm just taking a guess at how she'll start it out.

This is a fanfic and is not a fanfic sequel to Chain of Iron. I am writing a Chain of Iron sequel that happens directly after Chain of Iron events though.

it's A year after Kit left. Kit misses the blackthorn's but mostly Ty. After some bad events they finally meet again.

When James, Cordelia and Lucie find themselves in Los Angeles, The local shadowhunters are curious at the disturbance, upon further inspection of the situation they call their buddie in New York, when Magnus flips out and the New Yorkers are still puzzled, they call Tessa and Jem, who are following their own lead on two young male shadowhunters that were spotted in london- one dark haired the other with silver hair.

It's 1903 and the Merry Thieves are on patrol. Stranded in alleyway they find a deumas demon and an unconscious girl. Philomena Woodstorm wakes in the London Institute- in the aftermath of a demon attack. More attacks keep coming. Philomena, who's father was a mundane and a mother descended from an ancient but seclusive shadowhunter family with a dark secret, must fight alongside the others at the institute- all while harbouring illicit and unreturned feelings for James' parabatai- the glamorous but troubled Matthew Fairchild.
