She decides to help the professor because her experience with both protection spells and battle magic would help fighting the war threat. Elvira died right before the war ended, she was somehow brought back to life and encapsulated. Her body was restored with mechanical parts and a battery keeps her alive. After the crew set her free, she decides to join them and find out the real purposes of the war. Daniel entered a coma after the war and could never wake up. After a turn of events he got reanimated but he's got amnesia and cannot go under too much stress or else his body will fail. He wants to find out what happened to his wife and why they had a terrible fate 25 years ago.
