Amateur writer Jimena "Jimmy" Salome Vega-Cuentista is jolted out of her writers block when she meets Wendy Dorena Oleander, who claims to have had supernatural encounters with ghosts in the past. Their relationship is built on Wendy's outlandish story of her time at the Corentine mansion, which, to Jimmy's surprise, really did exist.
