Colby and Adam Wood are brothers and they have never got along. Colby loved to tease his older brother by calling Mr Perfect. Adam has the perfect grades, perfect attitude and quarterback of the football team. Colby is ten months younger but is also a senior. He doesn't have the attitude that his brother has. He has a temper and he is a cornerback on the football team. Clara Preston is the boys' new football coach's daughter and she is new to the school and gets to experience Colby's bitter attitude first hand. She is the first person to want to see what is underneath and Colby doesn't appreciate this attention. Will Clara figure Colby out or will still be out on the field doing the one thing that he feels that he is good at?

With six older siblings Taylor is used to be slightly ignored. Coming from a big family there is always someone with a larger problems that Taylor since he manages to keep everything together balancing schoolwork and football. Moving to a new city, starting at a new high school and playing for a new team makes life more complicated. As he bonds with his new teammates he begins to learn more about himself and learn that there is more to life than he already knows.
