Not too long ago, equestria was a place of harmony. But when the shadow King had returned, and corrupted the mane 6, equestria became a place of corruption. So Twilight Sparkle and King Sombra had gotten together, killed Celestial, striped Luna of her powers and imprisoned her, killed shining armor, and took over equestria as King Sombra and Queen Twilight Sparkle. But what happens when Queen Twilight and King Sombra's son falls in love with a mare from the resistance? And this mare falls for him as well, and their son has to make a choice. The mare, or his parents???
