This is just a fun project I just wanna work on while I'm blank on ideas for my other stories. This'll be short, maybe 10 chapters, probably less. This is gonna be heavily based off of the Fallout games, most notably Fallout 2, and a tiny little bit of Dune. This won't be a Reader story, the main character has a name. Oh, and I'll be crossposting this to AO3 if this does well, because I'm GREEDY and I LOVE BEING AN EVIL PERSON HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. More info in the opening chapter.

In the year 2340, the world population is less than one billion. While the cure has been distributed, the population will only increase by means of forced pregnancy by the government. The only way to stop this violation? Thousands of people camped deep in the wilderness, tucked away and preparing to take action. And a few of them will rise to lead the rest.

In this world, everyone gets superpowers. But not all of them are helpful. In fact, they can tear you apart. ~ When Lira turns 18, she finally gets her Resonance: the ability to sense and enhance emotions. But there's a cost: For everyone who gets their emotions enhanced, she gets closer to losing them. She feels horrible grief. This prevents her from focusing on other emotions. In Arbore, vigilantism is illegal unless you're a part of the Hero's Society.
