When the abuse goes too far with you and you end up in the hospital, dreading having to go back to your captor once you recover, a mysterious doctor offers you a mysterious way out which tearfully accept, and so begins his judgement. I'm new to this so forgive about how rushed it is, I just want to make a new genre of the reader/y/n character, something that punishes because all the yanderes x some spineless female reader piss me off. EDIT: I'm sorry to those who may be having trouble finding this because I changed the title.

"It would have been nice to know Honorable Scythe Bathsheba. But I'm much happier knowing the honorable Munira Atrushi." She forces her mouth into a smile, in the moment. An attempt at forgiveness. But how honorable is she really, the girl who wasn't chosen, the girl who has been left behind again and again? The librarian, the researcher, the companion, the listener; Munira can't remember an age when her life didn't belong in some form to others. How honorable can the so-called honorable Munira Atrushi really stay as the worlds move past her, time after time after time? The Library of Alexandria is darker than she remembers, now. Years on the Kwajalein Atoll with the girl and world of sunlight have dulled everything else. But Loriana is gone now, and there are no more scythes. Munira needs to rebuild. Even if she doesn't want to. Even if, for once in her life, all she wants is to destroy. The Library of Alexandria is too small. Sometimes she wonders if she should have gotten on one of those ships. ~~ A Munira Atrushi corruption fic. Spoilers for all of Arc of a Scythe.

When Eliza Marris accepts a teaching position at the prestigious Marrowick Academy, she expects ivy-covered halls, overachieving students, and maybe a shot at a quiet, noble life. What she doesn't expect are the whisper-thin children, the staff who never age or the basement that no one speaks of. Marrowick is beautiful, ancient and alive in all the wrong ways. As Eliza is drawn deeper into the school's secrets, she discovers that tenure isn't just a title. It's a pact. One that feeds on the brilliance of youth. One that requires sacrifice. One that is offered only once. Knowledge is power. Youth is currency. Tenure is forever.

"A teachable moment. The fragility of life doesn't care what you want, only what you can do. SkillSense simply shows you the truth of yourself, of what you are, and what you can become. But when he plays an obscure game and is the first ever person to complete it, he's rewarded, or punished, with the most unexpected skill. In this world, skills are managed and recorded through technology known as SkillSense, and the people of the world place a hierarchy on those with skills. Meaning: The higher your skills, the more people respect you. Follow Magnus along his journey through the occult in this tale of mysteries!

(Part 2 of my fanfic continuation series "Fallback". Chronologically takes place mostly before Fallback, except for chapter 6) [Slow updates] -- Being the only hidden object - and only person, really - in their world isn't great, yeah, but Cloudy's learned to make do with their unfortunate situation any way they know best. Or, an expansion on Cloudy's backstory leading up to the events of Fallback, showing how they became as secretive and prickly as they were in Fallback. This also covers how their existence affected Airy's time in their world. These are just a handful of scenes that primarily focus on a few characters and Airy's world, not really about ONE itself (the in-canon show) or the making of it. -- (All art in this is by me, SuspiciousSteww. ONE is by Cheesy Hfj on YouTube) - CW/Heads up for supporting/major character death and implied suicide (it's blink-and-you-miss-it but I want to mention it just in case)) - Some last-minute notes: Please make sure to read the tags, cause this is mostly hurt no comfort. Like I mentioned there, this is centered around an OC but has some of Airy's POV too. Some other characters (like Liam and the season one contestants) are only mentioned/have very little dialogue. Both Cloudy and Airy get referred to by two names in these earlier chapters, so heads up for that as well. Just mentioning this since I don't want to add this to the tags.)

Ren Smith has spent his life being ignored, mocked, and managed by people who barely see him as human. At home, he sleeps in the basement of a house that does not feel like his. His stepmother treats him like an obligation. His stepsister turns cruelty into casual entertainment. At work, his boss grinds him down under rules, corrections, and quiet humiliation. Then Ren finds something hidden beneath the floor of the café basement. A Victorian grimoire. Inside are formulas written in blood and science - recipes that do not summon demons or cast fire, but do something far more intimate: they bend human will. A cordial that makes refusal exhausting. A brew that clouds memory. A tonic that sharpens the brewer while stealing years from his life. At first, Ren tells himself he only wants justice. A little control. A little relief. A way to make the people who hurt him finally listen. But obedience is addictive. One by one, the people around him begin to change. His stepmother softens. His stepsister becomes careful. His boss learns fear. His neighbor's kindness is twisted into devotion. Every relationship becomes a system. Every weakness becomes an opening. And the worst part is this: They know something is wrong. They feel themselves yielding. They just cannot stop. As Ren trades blood, time, and pieces of his future for power, he stops trying to escape the world that crushed him. Instead, he rebuilds it around himself - quieter, cleaner, obedient. But the grimoire is not just a tool. It is watching. And Ren may not be its master at all. (The Alchemy of Thirst is a dark psychological fantasy about control, consent, revenge, and the terrifying moment when a victim becomes the architect of someone else's cage.)

We survived the first invasion. That does not mean we were right. Humans stood alone when the world nearly ended. When the first invasion came, demons poured across the Frontier and the sky burned for days. The elves did not march. The dwarves did not answer. Humanity created the Alchemists-beings of impossible power-and drove the empire back beyond the Wall. Then, fearing what they had made, they erased them. Now dungeons open along the border once more. Monsters gather. Patterns emerge. Lisa Veyra was once a Scout-Captain tasked with hunting lost souls in the dark corners of human lands. After a confrontation with a power that should not exist, she is removed from command and buried in silence-just as whispers of a second invasion begin to spread. The other races believe humanity will defend the world again. Humanity believes it has earned the right to rule it. When an ancient spirit from the first war shows itself as Kaelis' blade-one that remembers survival and now demands vengeance-she is given the power to act. But this time, the greatest threat may not be the demons beyond the Wall. It may be what humanity is willing to become.
