Book 03/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. The UNSC and their newest ally embark on a heavy defensive throughout Earth against the enemy, protecting humanities home planet at all cost. Lieutenant Serenity McKnight and her brothers and sisters in arms do their best to make the best of the war at the African front nearing New Mombasa. Doing so until an unknown mission would begin, deep in the jungle. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

An unknown event has caused multiple realities and timelines to merge. To maintain a measure of of stability, the inhabitants of this strange new existence have agreed to a very shaky form of peace. Meanwhile, certain powers that be set out to recruit the finest minds and combatants to their cause as the rest attempt to make their way in this strange new universe. I do not own the cover used, Star Wars, Halo, Metroid, or any of the other properties that may appear in this story, they all belong to their respective companies. Certain characters that appear are my own but I do not own the Universes they belong to. Credit to Spartan-L058 for letting me use a bit of their headcanon in this and to an old friend of mine for coming up with this idea with me years ago and continuing to be my second opinion and reference on things I don't know much about. Mysterious signals and ancient artifacts unravel a web of intrigue, forcing tough decisions. When a distress call from a presumed dead admiral emerges, it triggers a perilous journey into the unknown.

During the human-covenant war, Silver Team and Fire Team Octavian were sent to an unknown planet to investigate the disappearance of Fire Team Aconius, when they reached the planet the investigated Fire Team Aconius's base, only to realize that they have been murdered inside the base by something unknown to them, it wasn't covenant. As the spartans moved inside the base, they encountered an Ovomorph containing a face hugger. A marine who was with them was infected by the face hugger, just then a humanoid alien came out of his chest and attacked the spartans... The spartans realized they're facing a different threat besides the covenant... The Xenomorphs.

I love all halo characters (except for del-rio no one likes him lol) and I have noticed a mild lack of halo x reader content although a few good authors on wattpad have wrote amazing halo content for the community I have decided to attempt to add to it as well. This is an alternative timeline in Halo Reach where Noble 6 survives and Emile is the one who dies in a firefight. Noble 6 retires as a Spartan at 34 and finds a love he never thought was possible. (NOT MASTERCHIEF!!!!!!!)
