In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

An unknown event has caused multiple realities and timelines to merge. To maintain a measure of of stability, the inhabitants of this strange new existence have agreed to a very shaky form of peace. Meanwhile, certain powers that be set out to recruit the finest minds and combatants to their cause as the rest attempt to make their way in this strange new universe. I do not own the cover used, Star Wars, Halo, Metroid, or any of the other properties that may appear in this story, they all belong to their respective companies. Certain characters that appear are my own but I do not own the Universes they belong to. Credit to Spartan-L058 for letting me use a bit of their headcanon in this and to an old friend of mine for coming up with this idea with me years ago and continuing to be my second opinion and reference on things I don't know much about. You are the master chief

This story is based on the Second Level of the first Halo game Combat Evolved and follows a group of marines that survive the landing of their escape pod after launching form the Covenant invaded Pillar of Autumn. This group of soldiers pull together to try and survive the new and terrifying world they have crashed on. The Covenant are coming and they have nowhere to hide.

Falling, that was all John-117 could remember. And her, she's gone. but before the Master Chief could get recovered, debris from ships and other radioactive material provide the right environment for a third party to open a man sided slip-space portal. On other side he is greeted by a forerunner A.I. who states that John is currently several million light years away, to his amazement. And another thing was there to greet him, to further add to his astonishment. After getting an armour, weapons and logistics upgrade, John is accidentally taken in a universe filled with costumed vigilantes stopping crime, along with their corny phrases. This is a crossover between JL and Halo franchise, my intel isn't very good on the JL Universe so any help on some facts and story would be appreciated.
