They were near opposites, she was filthy rich, nearly richer than the Plinth family. She just wanted to be known. Coriolanus Snow? He had the name, a powerful one at that. But he was dirt poor, living off of scraps his cousin made. Of course nobody knew that, he was too embarrassed to admit it. It was great that the two people who hated and envied each other were in the same classes.

Valyria Sovanna has been working for Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the Head Gamemaker herself, for the past year now. Given her perfect grades, impressive intellect, and strong inclination for science and politics, Gaul took Valyria under her wing as an apprentice at the Capitol University.
