Just a short story in the Brandon Sanderson Cosmere. Obviously fan fiction. If I get more than a few likes or perusals I'll post the rest.

Jacen Kalen, a soother/brute twinborn bounty hunter trying to live in the ever changing political and emotionally charged landscape of Elendel, has discovered something odd about the marks he's hunting. How will this newfound discovery affect his psyche as he is forced to be the thing he hates going back to. Timeline wise takes place after BoM, spin off series. OC

Trouble stirs throughout the Mycelium covered streets of Elliodel. The Emperor has ruled for centuries under his immortal grip, using a strange psychedelic substance to control the masses. Sky has lived in the city his entire life, watching his family and friends succumb to a life of addiction and control. He begins to assemble a small crew, sharing powers that were supposed to be a secret, only spoken of by the Emperor with a whisper. On the other side of the City a young noblewoman prepares for her arranged wedding. Io had never been able to make a single decision in her life, decisions were her fathers business. Meeting with her girlfriend Nathalia under the cover of night they imagine a life together, far away from Io's father.

Get ready for the highstorm (or everstorm, we mostly don't judge here) of your radiant life (lighteyed or dark; again, little judgement here). This book's gonna be stuffed with jokes, artwork, love, anger at Sanderson, oathbringer thrills, and only Hoid knows what else. WARNING: Laughing so hard Stormlight comes out of your nose may occur. WARNING: This is a tear-up frequent area--from both overwhelming joy and deep eternal-as-the-epicness-of-Kaladin remorse. WARNING: Much fangirling is likely to occur Also this'll contain spoilers for basically every single Cosmere book out there, so if you haven't read them all, run to the library or B&N like Fleet with two highstorms on your heels.

In the vast Cosmere, there are a few souls who have gained the ability to travel between worlds through perpendicularities. But how does one join these wanderers? Arumi has lived her entire life in the roughs outside of Elendel basin, the land blessed by Harmony himself. But on her sixteenth birthday, she is sent by her adopted mother to become apprenticed to one of these Worldhoppers, a man known as Hoid. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° This story was started in December 2020, after reading Rhythm of War, so it contains spoilers for everything up to that point Please be polite in the comments and only use Cosmere-approved curse words ( storms, Harmony, Austere, Lightsong, storming lighteyes, etc.) It should probably also be mentioned that I have pretty much zero understanding of the overall cosmere timeline, so this story probably doesn't match up with that.
