This short story follows a Weaver, a being capable of traversing different realities. The narrator encounters the Weaver, who experiences increasingly violent episodes after sojourns in chaotic realms. These episodes involve visions of a "great, radiant city" and a "thing that shines and mocks." After the Weaver is brought to a facility where the narrator works, the narrator becomes fascinated and attempts to communicate with the dying Weaver using a device. During this final connection, the narrator experiences a profound vision of a beautiful realm and receives the Weaver's powers upon their death. Years later, now a Weaver themselves, the narrator explores the cosmos in a dreamlike state and discovers the fabled "City of the Gods." This awe-inspiring city, built from stardust and nebulae, holds ancient secrets. The narrator delves into its heart, finding temples and a library of cosmic wisdom. Here, they uncover ancient prophecies and stories of the gods, learning of their creation and transformation into the essence of the universe. In a time when the Earth was only darkness, the Mother Tree, Ton Maa, grew alongside her celestial kin to bring light and life to the vast sphere. From her falling leaves and twigs, the world was populated with creatures and humans, establishing a delicate harmony between the gentle and the fierce. But when a dark branch falls from Ton Maa's shadows, the Serpent of Destruction, Kgnewdam, is born, threatening to unravel the cycle of life. To restore balance, the gods must face their own creations, leading to a cosmic sacrifice that transforms the sky into a canvas of night and day. This is a short creation myth I designed for my mythology class! It was incredibly fun to create, and it's one of the few stories I made that I would love to expand into a longer narrative--also one of the stories I love to re-read once in a while and related to my own culture.

The Dragon Knight's purpose is simple but harrowing: to serve as Obsíd's enforcer across galaxies, collecting the heads of celestial beings who threaten the balance of the cosmos and endanger Obsíd. Each moon that surrounds Obsíd strengthens the Knight, forming part of his psyche and imbuing him with unique powers that grow with each conquest. Alyara sharpens his intellect, Eldri boosts his strength, Xethra heightens his intuition, Jurn grounds him with balance, Zythor fuels his rage, Velaya provides insight, and Sha'lar grants him foresight-together making him a formidable, multifaceted warrior.

They can create life, can perceive and interact with higher dimensional entities. And in fact they can just decide to transcend into places with more dimensions such as the other worlds, they are eternal, the passage of time doesn't do anything to them, they can exist for eons, they can choose to reincarnate at any point in time be at past or future, they can remember past lives, they become so powerful, they can shake all the stars in their respective infinite universes. They can easily and casually fly through space faster than light speeds, they can transmute matter, and allegedly, they can just do anything WITHIN their level. Their abilities are inherited, activated when they escaped the confines of their minds, separating in the physical but can directly manipulate and even touch it, adding to the fun. And as I said, they can just do anything. Still, the ten primodial lords consider them insignificant, and they are comparable to the lower gods.

One night in a forest, he spots a bright, mysterious glint in the sky-brighter than the moon, unlike any star or meteor shower-and is irresistibly drawn to it. As whispers from the "Realm Beyond" fill his ears, the glint intensifies, and Renz is transported to the World of Wonders: a lush, surreal realm of moon-blessed waters, white lotus blossoms, an arched carven bridge, and a vast, named sea.
