Reality itself seems to be breaking down, to the dismay of scientists, corporate titans and the ruling elites/reptilian demigods that have lorded it over the existing structure for countless eons. Secret agent Cassius Croon is hired to investigate a series of particularly bizarre events transpiring around the globe. They suspect he is the One. Actually, he is the None.

Entre des études qui ne lui correspondent pas vraiment, la pression de ses parents pour qu'iel obtienne son diplôme et un avenir auquel iel préfère ne pas trop penser, iel a déjà largement de quoi faire. Comme si ça ne suffisait pas, iel continue de suivre de loin les traces de Velvet, une cosplayeuse qu'iel admirait énormément avant sa disparition des réseaux, tout en passant beaucoup trop de temps derrière les fourneaux sans jamais envisager sérieusement d'en faire quelque chose. Et voilà qu'Alex, le charmant libraire du rez-de-chaussée, entre doucement dans son quotidien.
