Their legendary hero work in the 80s to the 2000s is famous in modern history, and they intend for Maeve to continue this legacy. It is a tightly-controlled, successful, rich and prestigious institution- but is it the right fit for Maeve? As se graduates highschool, she begins to wonder what her place is there. At the same time, a young new assistant joins the academy- Naomi. Not a super, just an ordinary young woman traversing her life after uni. She and Maeve get off to a rocky start, but then Naomi begins to show Maeve that there may be more to life than the academy. As the story progresses, Maeve questions everything she once knew and prioritised in life... _______________________ The worldbuilding of this story is loosely inspired by 'The Incredibles' universe, i.e. with the main character having the superpowers of violet parr. It's mainly just based off vibes tho :D

Halloween is an old, outdated practice. In a world where quirks run rampant, nightmares and fantasies quickly became reality. What was the point of fearing ghosts when a ghost-like villain was much more likely to appear in front of you? Every year, less and less kids wanted to be vampires or werewolves--they wanted to be villains and heroes. And because freakish things always happened on Halloween, fifty years after the appearance of quirks, Halloween had officially been changed to Internation.al Villain Acknowledgment Day (though that was a mouthful, so everyone simply called it Villainy Day). Kids would dress up as Heroes or Villains (usually the later, as Heroes' Day was in May) and participate in mock fights in their neighborhoods. And nobody loved Villainy more than the heroes. For Class 1A, however, their bit of spooky holiday fun is about to take a turn for the worse, and the Chas may never be the same afterwards. ⚠️Language & Violence⚠️

I whine, tugging at the short bunny costume my friend forced me to wear. "Yes! It's a Halloween party, you have to dress up"she smirks, "and what better to go as then a sexy bunny?" She whispers as she puts the bunny ears on me. "A gamer girl, I could go as a gamer girl" I exateratedly sigh. "Nope" Minha pops the "p" as she skips to her makeup bag. "I-I have to go to the bathroom" I stammer out as I rush to the bathroom. I open the cabinet door and grab my spare clothes and put them in a bag. Walking back into my bedroom I steathly grab my headphones and some more necessities for when I get to the party. "Now come here Y/n, let me put makeup on you. Jake will be here soon to pick us up" Minha smiles as she grabs my arm and puts me in the chair. _________________________________________________________________________ I drop my drink as someone bumps into me. "Yah! Watch where you're going!" I shout in his face. "Sorry gamer girl, don't fry your hard drive" he chortles, and then he walks off. I feel like I know him from somewhere, maybe it's nothing. ___________________________________________________________________________
