Out of his element in the pastoral crime scene, Goodspeed only agrees to take the case due to a financial slump caused by his injury. Housed in a rural cabin near the production set with sporadic Wi-fi and erratic cell service, he soon learns the quirky locals have more up their plaid sleeves than tourist traps, fiery town halls, and cornering the maple cremee market. One of them is a murderer.
