Humans were at war for hundreds of years. With who? The Gifted. Humans with special abilities that wished for freedom from being tested on. 17 years ago The Gifted earned their freedom. They demanded that the humans released an Gifted in custody. And they did. Except for a few. There were children that they kept. These children? They call themselves The Forgotten. The Forgotten. They escaped their prison 5 years ago and now live among the humans and Gifted in a hidden academy. But they are not the same. The Forgotten are 100x more powerful than any gifted. But, there are two types of Gifted. The first are normal. They are extremely dangerous and have full control of their powers. The other? The Emotional Forgotten. During their life of being test subject they struggled with their trauma. They reacted badly. Because of this, they became emotional. This led to their emotions being connected to their powers. This meant that if any one of these people got too angry, they could wipe out an entire city. They're the most dangerous because they struggle to control the power within. Things are normal. But things are about to change when a group of Forgotten decide they want to leave the academy, and live their own life.

Cassie has always been special. Marked by the government to be watched since she was a young girl, organizations and governments worldwide had been watching her to get their hands on her. So it wasn't quite a shock when she was accepted into Miss Alexandra's Auxillary School for the Gifted where she was surrounded by students with other talents: brains, musical ability, sneaking around. Miss Alexandra's was where students like Cassie can go for school or just for camp. Basically it was a safe haven for those with gifts. But enter other such schools and chaos ensues. Especially after Cassie becomes the first female student body president and thus the leader of her school in the middle of the war.

Jessica asked, irritably. "What is hitting our pod?" Tiffany asked, curiously. "Whatever it is, it's gotta be big enough to knock a fucking 200 lb pod." I said. Suddenly, another bump happened and it sent us flying into the water. We surfaced and gasped. "What the hell was that?!" Tiffany cried. I felt tugs on my legs. "Something's tryna pull me under!!" I cried. We all screamed as we were pulled underwater.
