In the aftermath of the Clone Wars and the deaths of Count Dooku and the Separatist Leaders, a shutdown signal was sent to all Battle Droids units throughout the Galaxy, effectively putting an end to the Clone Wars. In addition, the Galactic Republic was reorganised into the First Galactic Empire, and Chancellor Palpatine, who is actually the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, establishes himself as Emperor, putting an end to democracy and creating a new era of fear, corruption and tyranny that would last over a decade. Unknown to Palpatine, one large squadron of Battle Droids was able to resist the shutdown signal. In the possibility that Palpatine would betray him, Count Dooku instructed his secret apprentice, Jack Trevelyan, to oversee a contingency plan, to reconstruct the Droid Army. Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Virmire, located in the Unknown Regions. Jack had his Tactical Droid, Kraken, oversee the reproduction of the Droid Army and enters cryo-stasis to preserve his youth, reawakening once the time comes. In time, the Confederacy of Independent Systems will return to resume its original purpose: free the Galaxy from the corruption of the Republic, now the Empire. Anakin, get down now!" he yells, ducking down and checking the bullets in his gun. Five. He turns his wrist, spinning the face of his watch several times before a hologram of a person appeared. "Hello there, my partner and I are in a spot of trouble right now and could do with some backup, or extraction." He says cheerily before hanging up and peeking over the wall, firing one bullet.
