When nineteen-year-old Zane Austen is told he has exactly one hundred days left to live, he decides to disappear, no hospitals, no pity, no long, drawn-out goodbyes. Instead, he packs a camera, a notebook, and a list of the things he's always been too afraid to do and sets off on a quiet road trip to nowhere.
What he doesn't plan for is Audrey Willow, a sharp-tongued photographer with nowhere to go and a broken car that dies next to his. She invites herself into his journey with nothing but a map covered in doodles, a suitcase full of dresses, and a thousand questions from her that he doesn't want to answer.
As they travel, Zane finds something he never thought he'd have again-joy, laughter, LOVE. And the terrifying ache of wanting more time.
But Audrey doesn't know he's counting down the days. And Zane doesn't know how to tell her he's leaving. Not for a new city. Not for someone else. But for good.
