I'm sorry to say that the story you are looking at is extremely unpleasant. It tells an unhappy tale about a very unlucky young woman and her three siblings. Even though they are all charming and clever, the Baudelaire siblings seemed to lead lives filled with misery and woe. From the very first page of this book when they are at the beach and receive terrible news, continuing through the entire story, disaster lurks at their heels. One might say they are magnets for misfortune. In the midst of this misery and misfortune, Ashlyn seemed to find an unlikely companion and form of comfort. In this short book alone, the young woman and three youngsters encounter a seemingly greedy repulsive villain, itchy clothing, a disastrous fire, a plot to steal their fortune, and cold porridge for breakfast. It is my sad duty to write down these unpleasant tales, my research is not yet complete so I cannot say if these miserable events continue, but nothing is stopping you from this book down at once and reading something happy, if you prefer that sort of thing. Halfway between the bleak beginning to their story and the enigmatic end, Count Olaf and his troupe chase the Baudelaires to four more locations, each more far-flung than the last. i havent done this one and it was one of my favorites growing up the count olaf in this is based off the neil Patrick Harris version. Eliza Snicket was at the beach with her friends the baudelaires when mr poe told them and her that since she lived next door to them her house burned down as well as theirs and her father Jacques snicket could be dead. her mother died long ago. and since mr poe could not find any of her relatives being her uncle lemony that was wanted for murder and her aunt kit that was in hidding, she would go along with the baudelaires to their new guardian count olaf. eliza is the same age as violet. please i urge you for your own sake do not read this, look away, and forget this story but as for me i must write the unfortunate tale of Eliza Snicket.
